Take It Easy
Consider your resolution as an enduring commitment to a better lifestyle. You are much more likely to be productive if you take it easy at the start of your fitness regime. For example, you may witness people working out at a very high intensity, but if you are a beginner, you must start with low-to-moderate intensity exercises and gradually keep on increasing your workout intensity. It is completely fine to start your exercise programme with three days a week. Instead of trying your hands at a diverse range of exercises, even a 15-minute walk for three days a week is a good idea to start with.
Mindfulness and Rest
While it may seem appealing to set determined goals at the start of a new year, it is equally important to include plenty of time for rest and recovery as well. You need to pay attention to your body and rest when required to evade exhaustion and being over-trained.
The New Year is an exceptional time to stay committed to a healthier lifestyle, even if within the confines of one’s home. One must use the new beginning as an opportunity to make a resolution to strengthen once fitness regime with the above mentioned guidelines.
