HACKENSACK, NJ – The YMCA of Greater Bergen County is hosting a free community event to inspire more adults to keep their minds and bodies active.
On Wednesday, May 26, the Y will participate in The National Senior Health & Fitness Day®, a day to help keep older Americans healthy and fit. Organized as a public/private good health partnership by the Mature Market Resource Center, National Senior Health & Fitness Day will offer fitness activities for older adults at more than 1,000 locations across the U.S. The event is held on the last Wednesday in May as part of Older Americans Month activities.
Participants will have the opportunity to connect with the Y and community, learn about the benefits of regular exercise, and discover local resources that can help boost their physical and mental wellness.
